A MORNING STAR PICTURES DOCUMENTARY

The Legacy of St. Patrick and His Faith that Changed the World

“If this fire is not extinguished tonight, it will burn forever.”

THE DRUIDS OF KING LAOGHAIRE — AD 433

ABOUT THE DOCUMENTARY

One Man’s Obedience.

A Nation Transformed.

A Faith That Never Stopped.

In AD 433, a former slave named Patrick climbed the Hill of Slane and lit a fire in defiance of the pagan High King of Ireland. The druids warned the king: if this fire isn’t put out tonight, it will burn forever.

They were right.

The Fire Still Burns is a documentary that traces the legacy of St. Patrick from ancient Irish hilltops to modern-day living rooms across Ireland and Europe. The film follows filmmaker Allen Wolf on a journey through Ireland, Belgium, and Denmark, weaving together the untold history of how Irish monks carried their faith back to a collapsing Europe with the intimate, present-day stories of people whose lives have been transformed by an encounter with Jesus.

From the ruins of early Christian monasteries on the wild Atlantic coast to the secular cities of Brussels and Copenhagen, the film asks a simple question: Is the fire still burning in places the world has written off as post-modern?

Through cinematic footage of Patrician sites, personal stories, and conversations with believers across three countries, The Fire Still Burns reveals that Patrick’s fire was never about a flame on a hilltop. It was about a gospel that transforms lives. And fifteen centuries later, that gospel has lost none of its power.

YOUR STORY MATTERS

Has Patrick’s Legacy Touched Your Life?

Fifteen centuries ago, one man’s obedience ignited a faith that spread across Ireland and beyond. That fire is still burning, and your story may be part of it. We are looking for people in Ireland whose lives have been transformed by Jesus to share their story as part of this documentary. Tell us yours, and we’ll be in touch.
